– For the needs of the renovation of this building, we also adjusted the radii of the window arches based on templates electronically sent by our contractor. It is worth noting that due to the need to adapt to the needs and characteristics of the old building, the radii of the arches in the seemingly same windows of this building differ from each other. In addition, we focused on another aspect that distinguishes us, i.e. the tests and certifications we conduct. We are already a European company with probably one of the largest, if not the largest, number of NFRC and AAMA thermal tests in cooperation with American laboratories and certification bodies. We also expect to receive the first certificates for hurricane windows by the end of this year.
It is worth mentioning that BERTRAND has been conducting comprehensive tests of PVC and aluminum structures for many years (both in terms of the NFRC certificate and AAMA structural tests). The certificates obtained (more are on the way) allow us to implement both commercial and residential projects in any type of joinery. Tested products include: turn-and-tilt windows, fix windows, sliding windows, tilt windows, outward tilt windows, entrance doors, facades and sliding doors, and it doesn't end there. Bearing in mind how important American research is for our clients, we continue these activities and plan further ones.
