From the very first step, you can feel that this is a home designed with taste and thoughtfulness. Elegance goes hand in hand with comfort. The wooden floor adds warmth, while the black details – like the stair railing or the fireplace – bring a strong sense of character.

Why Bertrand windows?
When we ask why she chose Bertrand, her answer comes instantly:
"Because Bertrand windows had long been my dream.”
It sounds like a marketing slogan, but it was a truly genuine confession. Curious, we asked where that dream began.
“I had often heard that Bertrand offers exceptional quality,” she explains. “It wasn’t about seeing them somewhere – the opinion simply stayed with me. Advice that stays in memory
Building their home, Mrs Katarzyna and her husband had a clear budget. Despite initial doubts about the price, they decided to visit the Bertrand showroom in Luzino.There they met Robert – our experienced Project Manager.
“Please say hello to Mr Robert! I remember him so fondly. He didn’t try to sell us anything we didn’t need. He just asked the right questions and really listened. I loved that approach.”
That patient, attentive and respectful attitude made the collaboration a pleasure.
“He also didn’t fall into stereotypes – he quickly realised that I was the one making the decisions about the windows and doors. In other companies, the consultants only spoke to my husband – here, it was different.”
A thoughtful choice – Functionality & Aesthetics
Details matter to Mrs Katarzyna, so the choice of joinery was carefully considered.
“I wanted all the windows to open in the traditional way – with a handle. We gave up on sliding systems because they didn’t work well in our previous home.”.
Classic PVC windows used as balcony doors have many advantages – excellent insulation, durability and comfort of use.
One minus? The threshold. Could be a problem for children or people with disabilties.
“The threshold? You stop noticing it after a year,” she adds with a laugh..
Bertrand windows and doors – Harmony in every detail
The project didn’t stop with the windows. Mrs Katarzyna also chose aluminium entrance doors in the MB-86 system – solid, elegant and weather-resistant.
But the internal doors are just as impressive – some are classic white MDF panels, others are black glazed models with slim muntins.
“I wanted glass doors leading to the study and corridor to let more light in. If all doors were solid, that part of the house would feel too dark,” she explains. – wyjaśnia Pani Katarzyna.
Thanks to this, the whole interior is filled with light and balance – a reflection of a home where every detail matters.
8 Years Later – what Worked?
“I absolutely don’t regret my choice. The windows and doors still look like new. Nothing has loosened, nothing shows wear. It was truly an investment for years.”
For us, such words are the greatest reward – proof that Bertrand quality and dedication translate directly into long-term satisfaction.
Visiting Mrs Katarzyna’s home was special – not only because we could see our products after years of use, but because we met a home created with passion and heart. Seeing that our products remain a natural part of such timeless, warm spaces gives us true pride.
