In Our Series #LoodsBertrand time for Klaudię, naszą wyjątkową specjalistkę od fantastycznych fotografii, social mediów, ale też od wielu innych spraw, które równie sprawnie ogarnia. Warto poznać tę niesamowitą dziewczynę, która pracę w BB zaczynała przypadkowo, od praktyk. A dziś, w pełni zasłużenie, jest pełnoprawną specjalistką ds. marketingu.
How did you end up at Bertrand and how did you end up working in marketing?
I was looking for an internship related to English for my bachelor's degree. I asked my boyfriend who works at Bertrand in the aluminum warehouse if he could ask around. He managed to arrange an interview, I went, but it turned out that there was no vacancy in English export and I was offered marketing, where English is equally useful. And so it started with an internship and it led me to here.
What is your job? What are the biggest perks and challenges of the job?
It would take a long time to talk about my duties, I do practically everything related to the marketing area. I really value freedom in my work, the ability to present my own ideas. It was hard to find my way in this industry at first, I had no knowledge, but after a year I think I have learned a lot.
What is your most pleasant memory or situation while working at Bertrand?
This is of course a trip to Las Vegas to one of the largest construction fairs in the world. I had absolutely no idea that the company would participate in such events, and even less that I would get the chance to go there with them. It was a wonderful opportunity to test my English skills, visit a distant country, and have a great time.
Has anything surprising happened to you during this year of work, something you didn't expect? For example, a compliment about your work?
I didn't expect to find my place in marketing, even though I had some basic knowledge in this area, so every nice remark towards me related to my work is always unexpected and adds a lot of motivation.
Part of your job is photographing projects, both investment and private. Out of the ones you’ve seen, were there any that particularly impressed you and why?
I am a fan of spacious but cozy homes. I was very impressed by Mr. Ziemowit's project, one of the first that I had the opportunity to photograph. A photo from this project appeared on the cover of our American catalog, which I am very proud of.
If you had to choose any one BB product for your home, which would it be?
Hmm, I think it would be some kind of large aluminum sliding door. They always impress me when I walk through the hall.
If you had to convince an acquaintance, friend or family member to buy Bertrand products, how would you do it?
First, I would show photos of our projects, and then I would give Sławek's number from the sales department, because he has the gift of persuasion and is perfect for this job.
Three words that best describe BB products?
Your unique choice!
Your great passion is photography. When did you realize you had a special talent for it?
I wouldn't say I realized that my photos were exceptional, but I understood that it brought me great joy. I think it was during high school, I was in a photography major, where people went out of boredom, not passion. I ended up there because I was partly inspired by my brother, he gave me my first camera. When I went to my first outdoor session, and then my 18th birthday party, I already knew that this was what I wanted to do more often.
Robienie jakich fotografii sprawia Ci największa przyjemność?
I have this thing where I like to try a little bit of everything. That's why I like different areas of photography: outdoor, portrait, event, architecture, automotive. However, if I had to choose one favorite, it would be portraits.
Is there a particular photo you've taken that you're particularly proud of?
I once went to the beach in Sopot with a friend and it was there, while really learning about photography, that I accidentally took a photo that I later managed to win a distinction with in a photography competition. I have a huge sentiment for that photo.
If you could pick one person in the world to take a photo of, who would it be and why?
I've never thought about it, I don't think I have such a person. Maybe Twenty One Pilots during their concert.
What song do you like to turn on when you get in the car?
It all depends on the day, my mood and what my favorite song is that week.
Your biggest dream is?
Build a house on some Italian island and spend the rest of your life there.
Finally. You are a huge fan of cars. If you could move from your "crisp" to any car for a day, which one would you choose?
Alfa Romeo Giulia.
