Characteristic features
- Inward opening window with an invisible frame on the outside.
- Externally, it looks like a fixed glazing, aesthetically flush with the façade.
- Structural glazing with glass glued without a "step" to the sash profiles.
- Excellent thermal insulation – Uf coefficient = 1.82 W/m²K (standard version).
- Can be used in three variants: standard, with a flat strip and in the EFEKT system.
A curtain wall system with an inward-opening window and an invisible frame from the outside.
In facades based on a post and beam system, it is possible to use different types of opening elements. These can be windows with a visible frame, opening inwards or outwards, as well as frameless external windows, based on structural system profiles, which are tilted outwards.
The innovative solution is a construction in which the window opens inwards, but from the outside it looks like a fixed glazing. From the inside, on the other hand, the effect of a uniform surface of mullions and transoms is achieved. This window has structural glazing, and the glass is glued without the so-called "step" to the sash profiles. In addition to aesthetic values, the MB-SR50 IW system also offers excellent thermal insulation - the heat transfer coefficient for the frame is Uf=1.82 W/m²K (for standard version).
The design is available in three variants: standard, with a flat strip and in the EFEKT version.
