KONTUR, i.e. premium PVC system with the option aluminum overlays, is a combination of reliable functionality and modern, based on simple contours, design. All this is combined with a unique anti-burglary protection (hard PVC fin, additional reinforcement of the profile structure) up to RC3 class and the best values thermal insulation (Uf value of 1.0 W/(m²K), acoustic and statics.
These aspects were achieved thanks to the special construction, the depth of the installation of 82.5 mm and the central seal or the use of glass of appropriate thickness with matching seals. Increased stability is ensured by reinforcements throughout and the use of gluing technician – static dry glazing (STV® technology) or wet gluing.
The KONTUR system, thanks to slim profiles, allows for maximum natural lighting of the room, while maintaining safety and stability. Windows made using this technology can be incorporated into both new buildings and those undergoing renovation.
Optionally, the KONTUR system profiles can also be made of a combination of PVC and aluminum, and thanks to aluminum overlays in a rich RAL color palette - they can become a part of aluminum structures. Additionally, it will soon be possible to finish in acrylcolor technology, i.e. using acrylic glass.
Thanks to the optimal use of aluminum overlays, the appearance of windows can be designed in many ways. They are available two types overlays – classic and a variant with a sash flush with the frame.
It should be emphasized that this type of finish is not only aesthetic, but also exceptionally resistant for action atmospheric factors. Overlays are available in all shades RAL palettes, and additionally, thanks to a wide range of decorative foils, it is possible to design colored window and door profiles. Additional shades and textures are also available on request.
Another distinguishing feature of KONTUR is the safety that is achieved thanks to the sealing of hard PVC. It has long been known that windows, balcony doors and terraces are a weak point in the context of anti-burglary protection. Kontur is a great answer to this need, because the anti-burglary fin made of hard PVC on the frame prevents the sash from being forced open by inserting a screwdriver between the frame and the sash, while additional reinforcements of the profile structure support the overall anti-burglary concept.
