Adaptive roller shutters – SK, SKE and SKP systems

Roller shutters in the SK, SKE and SKP adaptive systems are intended mainly for installation in existing buildings. Their main advantage is the lack of need to interfere with the current condition of the building, because they do not require special preparation for installation and are not integrated with the window. Thanks to this, they can be installed at any time. These roller shutters can be mounted to the window joinery (in the recess) or directly on the wall. In the case of installation in the recess, the semi-oval SKP box systems are recommended, which perfectly match the elevation, or the SK and SKE systems (with an extruded box), where the box is cut at a 45° angle.

The roller shutter curtain is most often made of profiles made of high-quality aluminum sheet filled with polyurethane foam and having special two-layer paint coatings in the PU/PA system. Thanks to this, the roller shutters are characterized by increased resistance to abrasion and weather conditions. Profiles made of extruded aluminum are also available, which are characterized by greater stiffness and stability, as well as plastic profiles. Adaptive roller shutter systems can also be integrated with a mosquito net, which provides effective protection against insects in the summer and helps to maintain heat inside the rooms in the winter.
