Softline has excellent thermal insulation properties. This is influenced by: the structure of the wood (porous and fibrous), the shape and thickness of the window profile (68/78 XL mm), the system of structural notches, and the profiled seal placed between the sash and the frame. Thanks to this, the interior of your house is perfectly protected against rain, wind, pollution and noise, while maintaining optimal ventilation of the rooms.
The window profiles are made of 3- and 4-layer glued scantlings. This is currently the best way to eliminate the wood defect of warping due to changing humidity conditions. The boards are connected in such a way that the internal stresses occurring in the wood cancel each other out and the profile remains straight. Before gluing, they are subjected to drying processes (optimal for a given type of wood) and impregnation (anti-fungal and anti-mold) in order to increase the durability of the final product
We offer the option of equipping windows with additional elements that beautify their appearance, such as divisions, arches, stained glass, carved elements, and handles in various shapes and colors.
Bertrand uses the most advanced wood varnishes. Our AQUATOP varnish, which we use as standard, protects surfaces from weather conditions and provides them with smooth and long-lasting protection.
AQUATOP is characterized by excellent resistance to moisture. It protects surfaces from water, rain and moisture, preventing problems such as rot, mould and damage that occurs over time. It provides reliable resistance all year round, in any climate.
Thanks to advanced and innovative varnishes and a careful production process, which is a hybrid of automated sanding of flat surfaces and manual sanding of hard-to-reach surfaces such as the surface inside the frame, our wooden windows are characterized by a smooth and flawless finish.

The window sash has rounded edges, it is the basic version of the window in this system.
We have placed an additional aluminum cover on the outer edge of the sash, which protects this part of the window against solar radiation and rainwater.
The outside of the window sash and the glazing bead have a decorative milling, making the window look more elegant and subtle.
